STRESS MANAGEMENT
This course offers simple and very effective means to identify individuals' personal stressors and a means to deal with them in a natural and non-threatening manner.
Simply defined, 'stress' is the body's natural response to 'stressors' – the so called 'flight or fight' reaction that's been with human beings (and all living creatures) since the beginning of time.
Of course, not all stress in detrimental! In fact, when responding to (say) challenges, it's presence can motivate to greater effort.
However when negative reaction persists - unless the stressor is effectively dealt with - mental and physical consequences can be devastating. Even modern medicine now acknowledges the part debilitating stress often plays in many serious illnesses
